Alia Bhatt was looking youthful and rather refreshing at the nominations bash. She was rocking a bright red Alexander McQueen gown. The gown is from quite an old collection, but Alia looked great. She had let her gown become the focus. She had no jewellery, though some would have been nice. Her hair was in a half-up half-down, naturally curled look. She had very little makeup, with a light red lip. She carried a golden candy Jimmy Choo clutch, which looked great with dress.
Deepika Padukone picked a bright colourful printed dress from Pankaj & Nidhi. This appearance of hers was much better than the previous one. Also, this look was styled a lot better. I adored her coral pointy toe heels. They did wonders to the outfit. Although, not a great fan of the gold skull necklace. I would have preferred stacked bracelets or statement earrings. The makeup and hair were kept simple and fresh.
Shraddha Kapoor, I think would have been my favourite! She was looking like a doll. She chose to wear an elegant baby pink dress. The dress has a high-low hem and with one half of the dress in lace details. She chose not to wear any jewellery and kept the look simple by opting for a black beaded clutch. Her gold glitter heels were very cute. Her makeup was delightful, and that pop of barbie pink lip colour was great! I just felt this look called for a sleek pony tail.
Sonam Kapoor wore a deep blue and black column gown from Anushka Khanna's latest collection. Her hair was styled into a braided updo. I like the fact that she is one actress who always changes and experiments with her looks. For accessories, she opted for emerald green diamond earrings and a black Bottega Veneta clutch. Overall she looked great, however those dark lips kind of clashed with her dark gown. Perhaps a lighter lip colour would have looked better?
Which was your favourite look?
